Ready-to-deploy business laptop

The Latitude 7490 arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed and 32 GB of DDR4 memory already fitted. An Intel Core i7-8650U running at 1.9 GHz handles office suites, browser-heavy workflows and video calls without hesitation. The 14.0 inch anti-glare panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear text and spreadsheets.

Memory and storage ceiling

Both SODIMM slots are occupied to reach the 32 GB maximum the platform supports, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. The 512 GB SSD provides fast boot and application load times, yet capacity may feel tight for large local media libraries or multiple virtual machines. Integrated UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory, leaving less RAM for heavy multitasking.

Port selection and mobile practicality

HDMI 1.4, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a USB Type-C connector with DisplayPort alt-mode cover external displays and peripherals without a dock. Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 keep network options open. At 3.1 kg the chassis stays portable, while the 720p webcam and dual pointing devices support flexible work locations.
