Portable business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch laptop built around a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.9 GHz with a turbo frequency up to 4.2 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Check your peripherals and docks

Verify that your external monitors use HDMI or a Thunderbolt 3 compatible input because the laptop provides one HDMI port and a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3. The system includes three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a microSD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2. There is no optical drive, so any legacy media requires an external USB reader.

Charger and battery included

The package supplies the laptop, a charger and the internal battery so the unit can be used immediately without sourcing a separate power adapter. No docking station, carrying case or additional adapters are bundled. Thunderbolt 3 support allows a single-cable connection to compatible docks or high-resolution displays purchased separately.
