Ready-to-travel business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0" Windows 10 Home notebook built around an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 1.9 GHz base clock and 4.2 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display.

Thunderbolt 3 single-cable docking

One USB-C port carries Thunderbolt 3, delivering video, data and power through a single cable so you can connect external monitors and peripherals at the desk without a proprietary dock. Three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD reader complete the wired connectivity.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS

Buyers who need Windows 10 Home out of the box, a compact 14" chassis and Thunderbolt 3 expansion will find this configuration a direct fit. Teams requiring a discrete GPU, a touchscreen panel, Windows 11 pre-installed or larger factory storage should evaluate other models.
