Business ultraportable for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch touchscreen laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast storage access. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed for immediate deployment in managed environments.

Integrated graphics cap sustained 3D workloads

Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday productivity, video playback and multi-monitor output through HDMI and USB-C 3.1 Gen 1. The 15-watt processor design favours battery longevity over raw compute throughput. Demanding creative or engineering applications will exceed the thermal and graphical headroom of this platform.

Quad-core U-series CPU defines performance ceiling

Four cores and eight threads at 1.90GHz with 8MB cache set the hard limit for compile times, virtualisation density and heavy spreadsheet calculation. Buyers who need sustained multi-core throughput or discrete GPU acceleration should select a different chassis class. This unit targets mobility-first workflows where weight and run-time outweigh peak speed.
