Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Dell Latitude E5420 and do I need to buy a power adapter separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Home pre-installed, a 14.0" HD+ LED display, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, a 2.5" 128 GB SSD, DVD-RW drive, integrated webcam, Intel HD 3000 graphics, Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet and a multi-touch touchpad. A power adapter is standard with new laptops.

Should I choose the Core i7 2.20 GHz dual-core version or look for a different processor option?

This unit is the Intel Core i7 2nd Gen dual-core at 2.20 GHz with 6 MB L3 cache. The supplier notes other E5420 listings use Core i5; choose the i7 for higher clock speed and Hyper-Threading on two cores.

How does the 1366 x 768 resolution look on the 14.0" screen for daily office work?

The 14.0" HD+ LED panel at 1366 x 768 gives a typical pixel density for this class; text is readable for documents and email, while the LED backlight keeps brightness even across the matte surface.
