Dell Latitude E5420 14.0 Inch Notebook

This Dell Latitude E5420 is a 14.0 inch business notebook powered by a dual-core Intel Core i7 2nd Gen processor running at 2.20GHz. It comes with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 128GB solid state drive. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the device.

Suits Mobile Professionals Needing Legacy Ports

The HD+ LED display, DVD-RW drive, VGA and HDMI outputs serve users who still rely on optical media or older projectors. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel or a lighter ultrabook chassis should look at something else.

128GB SSD Capacity Decides Fit

The 128GB solid state drive determines whether this unit can hold your operating system, applications and active files. If your workload requires more local storage, this configuration will not be sufficient.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i7 2.20GHz dual-core processor and 8 GB DDR3 RAM are detected after setup?

Open Task Manager or System Information in Windows 10 Home to verify the processor name, 2.20GHz speed, dual-core count, 6 MB L3 cache and 8 GB DDR3 memory are all listed correctly.

Which accessories are included and what must be purchased separately?

The box contains the Latitude E5420 notebook, 14.0" HD+ LED display, 128 GB 2.5" SSD, DVD-RW drive, integrated webcam, TPM 1.2 security chip, Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA and HDMI outputs, card reader and multi-touch touchpad; only a power adapter is essential and may need separate purchase if not bundled.

Should I choose the 128 GB SSD version or the 16 GB maximum RAM configuration?

This listing ships with a 128 GB 2.5" SSD and 8 GB DDR3 installed; the platform supports up to 16 GB DDR3 if you plan heavier multitasking, while the SSD capacity is fixed at 128 GB unless you replace the drive yourself.
