Ready for business tasks

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for everyday office work. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on a 5th Gen Intel Core i5-5300U processor with 8GB of DDR3L memory. A 128GB SATA SSD provides the system drive for quick boot times and application loading. This configuration suits professionals who need a reliable machine for documents, email and web-based tools.

Practical connectivity and durable frame

The black chassis includes VGA and HDMI outputs for connecting external displays or projectors in meeting rooms. An integrated webcam supports video calls without extra peripherals. A DVD-RW drive remains available for legacy media or software installation. The LED-backlit HD screen delivers a 1366 x 768 resolution suitable for standard productivity viewing.

Cool and quiet for desk use

Integrated graphics and the low-power U-series processor keep heat output modest during typical workloads. Fan noise stays low when handling spreadsheets, browser tabs or video playback. The 128GB solid-state drive draws less power than a mechanical disk, helping battery life during mobile use. The 1.9 GHz base clock provides steady performance without thermal spikes.

Questions about this item

What SATA interface does the 2.5" 128 GB SSD use, and what speed does that cap it at?

The 2.5-inch 128 GB solid-state drive connects via SATA, so its maximum transfer rate is limited to the SATA revision supported by the platform.

What are the physical dimensions of the storage bay this 2.5" drive fits into?

The laptop uses a standard 2.5-inch SATA drive bay measuring 2.5 inches wide, matching the supplied 128 GB SSD form factor.

How is the SSD installed, and which step do people often miss?

Remove the base cover, slide the 2.5-inch SATA SSD into the caddy, secure it with screws, then reconnect the data and power cables before reassembling.
