Business-ready 14-inch laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0-inch business laptop with an HD LED-backlit display at 1368 x 768 resolution. It runs on a 5th Gen Intel Core i5-5300U processor and includes 8 GB of DDR3L memory. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed. A 1 TB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive provides the primary storage.

Upgrade from older mechanical-drive notebooks

This unit replaces an ageing laptop that still relies on a spinning hard drive for the operating system and files. The jump is worth it when you need a newer-generation mobile CPU with Turbo Boost 2.0 and a clean Windows 10 Pro installation. Integrated graphics handle everyday office workloads and video playback without a discrete card.

Verify ports and expansion needs

Confirm that the available VGA and HDMI outputs match your external display requirements. The single 2.5-inch drive bay limits internal storage to one SATA device unless you use external media. Check that 8 GB of DDR3L memory satisfies your multitasking demands before ordering.
