Product identity

The Dell Latitude E5520 is a 15.6-inch business laptop with an Intel Core i5 2.20GHz dual-core processor, 8 GB DDR3 memory and a 1 TB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and includes a DVD-RW optical drive, VGA and HDMI outputs, a webcam and a Trusted Platform Module security chip.

Interface limits

The integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics share system memory and drive the 15.6-inch HD+ LED display or external monitors through VGA and HDMI. Network access comes from Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 Wi-Fi and a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port. Maximum supported memory is 16 GB DDR3.

Setup checks

Verify that your workflow fits a traditional hard drive rather than an SSD and that the HD+ resolution meets your screen-space needs. Ensure any peripherals you plan to connect are compatible with VGA, HDMI, USB and the built-in card reader. Confirm Windows 10 Pro satisfies your software licensing requirements.
