15.6" FHD business laptop with i7-6600U

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch Full HD notebook powered by a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. No operating system is pre-installed, so the buyer must provide their own Windows or Linux licence.

Who this suits and who it does not

This machine suits professionals who need a portable 15.6" display at 1920 x 1080 resolution for office applications, web browsing and video conferencing using the integrated webcam and Intel HD Graphics 520. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a discrete GPU for heavy 3D work or a larger pre-installed SSD should look elsewhere.

Memory ceiling of 16GB DDR3

The system provides two memory slots and supports a maximum of 16GB of DDR3 RAM, so the installed 8GB can be doubled if workloads demand more capacity. This limit is the key specification to verify before purchase if you plan to run memory-intensive virtual machines or large datasets.

Questions about this item

Can the 240GB NVMe drive be moved to a newer system that also has an M.2 NVMe slot?

Yes, the 240GB M.2 NVMe drive uses a standard PCIe interface and can be transferred to any compatible M.2 NVMe slot in another laptop or desktop.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 520 and 8GB DDR3 are detected after installing an OS?

Open Device Manager or System Information in Windows; the display adapter will show Intel HD Graphics 520 and installed memory will read 8GB DDR3 across the two slots.

Does the box include a power adapter or must I buy one separately?

The laptop ships with a Dell AC adapter; no separate power supply purchase is required to operate the E5570.
