Dell Latitude E5570 with 1 TB NVMe

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop built around an Intel Core i5-6200U dual-core processor. It ships with 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a new 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. The system arrives without an operating system installed.

Check power adapter and OS licence

Verify you have a compatible Dell barrel-type power adapter because none is included with the unit. Confirm you possess a valid Windows licence or alternative OS media since the laptop ships with no operating system pre-loaded. Ensure any required peripherals use standard USB or HDMI connections available on the chassis.

Sustained load on dual-core U-series CPU

The i5-6200U runs at 2.30 GHz base with a 2.80 GHz turbo frequency, but the 15 W thermal envelope limits prolonged high-frequency operation. Under continuous multi-threaded workloads the processor will throttle to maintain temperatures, so expect lower sustained clocks than the peak turbo figure. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 shares system memory and is suited only for light graphical tasks.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop come with an operating system or do I need to buy Windows separately?

No operating system is installed. You must acquire and install your own version of Windows or another OS before use.

Is the 16 GB DDR3 memory upgradeable beyond the factory amount?

The system has two memory slots and the maximum supported capacity is 16 GB, so the installed 16 GB already reaches that limit.

What real-world performance can I expect from the Intel Core i5-6200U with its 2.30 GHz base and 2.80 GHz turbo?

The dual-core processor handles everyday office tasks, web browsing and video playback smoothly; heavier workloads such as video editing or modern gaming will be limited by the two cores and integrated Intel HD Graphics 520.
