15.6-inch business laptop with 1TB SSD

The Lenovo ThinkPad T560 is a 15.6-inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i5-6200U dual-core processor at 2.3GHz with 3MB cache. The system includes 16GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive for fast storage. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles video output on the non-touch HD display.

HD 1366 x 768 panel limits external display options

The built-in screen shows 1366 by 768 pixels with LED backlighting. Intel HD Graphics 520 shares system memory for video tasks. One HDMI port and one Mini DisplayPort provide external connections. The shared graphics memory and HD resolution restrict multi-monitor setups and high-detail external displays. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac wireless handle network links.

Charger and battery included for immediate setup

The package supplies the laptop, charger and battery so the unit powers on straight away. Grade B condition means the LCD and chassis show wear such as worn keys, touchpad or minor scratches. Overly damaged parts have been replaced. Buyers who need a pristine screen or unmarked case should look elsewhere. No optical drive is fitted.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR3 configuration or look for a different memory amount?

This unit ships with 16 GB DDR3 already installed. The dual-core i5-6200U handles typical office workloads well at that capacity, and no other memory option is offered for this listing.

What does the 2.3 GHz base clock of the i5-6200U mean once the laptop is running everyday tasks?

The processor runs at 2.3 GHz under sustained load and can boost higher for short bursts. In practice this delivers responsive web browsing, document editing and video playback without fan noise becoming intrusive.

Which display interface does the HDMI port use and what resolution does it actually support?

The HDMI port follows the HDMI 1.4 standard built into the Intel HD Graphics 520, allowing external monitors up to 4K at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz.
