Dell Latitude E5570 purpose

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6 inch HD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1366 x 768 non-touch display. The unit arrives with no operating system installed.

Check compatibility before ordering

Verify that your workflow can operate without a pre-installed operating system, as you must acquire and install Windows or another OS yourself. Confirm that 16GB of DDR3 memory meets your application requirements, because the two memory slots are already populated to the 16GB maximum supported. Ensure the 240GB NVMe SSD capacity is sufficient for your software and data, since no secondary hard drive bay is present.

Build integration notes

The laptop provides a complete mobile workstation in a single chassis, freeing you from sourcing separate memory, storage or a discrete graphics card. The 15.6 inch HD screen and integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handle everyday productivity and video playback without extra hardware. You only need to supply a compatible power adapter and your chosen operating system licence to make the system operational.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop come with an operating system installed or do I need to buy one separately?

The laptop is supplied with no operating system installed; you will need to acquire and install Windows or another OS yourself.

Is the 16 GB of DDR3 memory the maximum this model can take or can I add more later?

The system already has the maximum supported 16 GB of DDR3 across its two slots, so no further memory upgrades are possible.

How fast is the 240 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe drive compared with a traditional hard drive in everyday use?

The NVMe PCIe SSD delivers much quicker boot times, application launches and file transfers than a mechanical hard drive.
