Business laptop for office work

The Dell Latitude E5570 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on 8GB of DDR3 memory and a new 240GB SATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1366 x 768 HD non-touch display.

Simple memory and storage access

The chassis provides two memory slots supporting up to 16 GB total, allowing straightforward RAM upgrades. The 2.5-inch SATA SSD is user-replaceable with standard tools. Common issues include limited screen resolution for modern multitasking and the older DDR3 platform restricting memory speed.

Suits general productivity and legacy software

This unit suits users needing a reliable Windows 10 machine for document editing, web browsing and legacy business applications. Buyers who want higher display clarity, faster storage interfaces or newer processor architectures should look at other models.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i7-6600U is running at its 3.40 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, go to the Performance tab, select CPU and watch the live clock speed while running a heavy single-threaded load; it should reach 3.40 GHz if thermals allow.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately for the Latitude E5570?

The laptop, its AC adapter and the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro 64-bit are included; no recovery media or docking station is supplied.

Should I choose the 8 GB DDR3 configuration or upgrade to the 16 GB maximum supported?

The unit ships with 8 GB in one of two slots; adding an 8 GB DDR3 module later gives the full 16 GB for heavier multitasking.
