Connects a 14" WXGA LCD panel to a Latitude E6420 motherboard using part number F1P03
This genuine Dell F1P03 ribbon cable connects the WXGA-HD display panel in a Latitude E6420 laptop. It is built specifically for 14-inch screens with a native 1366 x 768 resolution. The part is a tested working pull that is guaranteed to function perfectly.
Install this cable when the existing ribbon has failed due to hinge stress, liquid exposure or connector fatigue. The jump is worth it if the laptop powers on but the screen shows artefacts, flickering or no image while an external monitor works normally. Compatibility is limited to E6420 models equipped with the 1366 x 768 WXGA-HD panel only.
This cable will not work with higher-resolution HD+ or Full HD panels fitted to other E6420 units because the pin-out and signal count differ. Verify the part number F1P03 on the original cable or confirm the screen resolution before ordering. No other Dell models or screen resolutions are supported by this specific ribbon.

It is designed for WXGA-HD panels with a native 1366 x 768 resolution only.
Remove the bezel, unlock the ZIF sockets on both the panel and motherboard, insert the ribbon straight, then lock the latches before reassembly.
Replace it if the display shows persistent lines, flickering, or no image after confirming the panel and GPU are working correctly.
