Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Dell Latitude E6430s is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by a 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3720QM quad-core processor at 2.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 memory, a 1 TB 2.5-inch SSD and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed. The anti-glare HD LED panel runs at 1366 x 768 resolution and includes an integrated webcam.

Upgrade from dual-core or HDD systems

Moving from a dual-core mobile CPU to this quad-core part with Hyper-Threading gives a clear jump in multi-threaded throughput for office suites and virtual machines. Replacing a mechanical drive with the new 2.5-inch 1 TB SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The lighter chassis saves 0.5 lbs over the standard E6430 while keeping the same VGA, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet ports.

Everyday productivity headroom

The 8 GB DDR3 configuration handles typical multi-tab browsing, document editing and video conferencing without paging. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 drives the built-in display and one external monitor over HDMI or VGA. The 1 TB SSD provides ample space for a large local file library, though the 1366 x 768 panel limits on-screen workspace for complex spreadsheets or timeline editing.
