Ultra-portable 12.5″ business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch ultra-portable laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 machine with a dual-core Intel Core i5-5300U processor, 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 128 GB mSATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the 1366 x 768 non-touch display, while HDMI and mini DisplayPort outputs handle external monitors or projectors.

Check power, ports and OS needs before buying

Verify that the included charger matches your local mains voltage and that the barrel connector fits the laptop’s DC jack. Confirm you have peripherals for the three USB 3.0 ports, the gigabit Ethernet jack, the full-size HDMI port and the mini DisplayPort. The system ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit; a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path is noted but not pre-installed. Memory is upgradeable to 16 GB if your workload demands more than the factory 8 GB.

Replaces older 13″ ultrabooks with slower storage

This unit upgrades from earlier 13-inch ultraportables that used mechanical hard drives or smaller SSDs, delivering faster boot and application loading via the 128 GB mSATA drive. The jump is worthwhile for mobile workers who need all-day battery life from the efficient Broadwell dual-core CPU and a lightweight chassis with durable construction. Buyers who need a larger screen, discrete graphics, touch input or more than 128 GB of internal storage should look elsewhere.
