Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro system. An Intel Core i7-5600U processor running at 2.60GHz works with 16GB of memory to handle office applications and multitasking. The 512GB SSD provides fast boot times and ample space for documents. A non-touch display keeps the focus on productivity.

Ports and connectivity

One HDMI port and one Mini DisplayPort allow connection to external monitors or projectors for presentations. Three USB ports support peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard and storage devices. Gigabit LAN and 802.11n wireless give reliable wired and wireless network access. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro already installed and activated.

Capacity and limits

The 512GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, applications and a large working file library without needing external storage. Sixteen gigabytes of RAM across two slots keeps multiple browser tabs and business programs running smoothly. Integrated Intel HD Graphics handles desktop video and light media tasks but is not suited for 3D rendering or modern gaming. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more internal expansion should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB SSD need replacement if it fills up?

The 512GB SSD is the primary storage; if capacity runs low you can add an external drive or replace the internal unit with a larger compatible SSD.

What limits performance during long heavy workloads?

The Intel Core i7-5600U 2.60GHz processor and Intel HD Graphics share thermal headroom, so sustained loads will throttle clock speeds first.

How loud and hot does the 12.5" laptop get when running all day?

The compact chassis uses a single fan; under continuous load the fan spins up audibly and the base becomes warm to the touch.
