Compact business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5 5th Gen processor running at 2.20GHz. It comes with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD installed. Windows 10 Pro is preloaded with a recovery image on the drive. The 1366 x 768 WXGA panel is non-touch and uses LED backlighting.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS

This unit fits users who require Windows 10 Pro on a lightweight chassis with a backlit keyboard and Bluetooth. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles office applications and video playback. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher-resolution display or a dedicated graphics processor should look at something else. The cosmetic condition is described as fair with moderate scratches or scuffs on the bezel and casing.

Verify ports and expansion before purchase

The laptop provides three USB ports and two memory slots in total. There is no optical drive and the supplier notes that expansion or SD slot covers may be missing. Confirm that your peripherals and any planned memory upgrade match the available connections. The SSD capacity may range from 240GB to 256GB depending on the specific drive fitted.

Questions about this item

What external display can I connect to the 1366 x 768 panel on the E7250?

The laptop outputs video through its built-in ports, so any monitor or projector with a matching input will mirror or extend the 12.5-inch screen at up to its native 1366 x 768 resolution.

Will my existing USB 2.0 peripherals work with the three USB ports on this Latitude?

Yes, the three USB ports are backward compatible, so keyboards, mice, printers and drives designed for USB 2.0 will function normally when plugged in.

How can I confirm the 16 GB of memory and 256 GB SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Settings > System > About to see the installed RAM listed as 16 GB, then open File Explorer and check that the C: drive shows roughly 240 GB to 256 GB of usable space.
