Upgrade from Older Non-Touch

Replacing a heavier clamshell with a spinning hard drive yields instant resume, quieter operation and direct screen interaction for presentations. The jump is worthwhile when daily work involves frequent travel, docked desk sessions via the E-Port connector and a need for native 1920 x 1080 touch input.

Verify Ports, Power and OS Requirements Before

Confirm your peripherals match three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, RJ-45 and a combo audio jack. Ensure the 45 Wh four-cell battery meets unplugged runtime expectations and that Windows 10 Professional satisfies any software licensing policies in your environment.
