Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR3 memory run at full speed with the i5-5300U?

Yes, the dual-core i5-5300U supports DDR3 up to 16 GB and the laptop already has that amount installed across two slots, so memory bandwidth is maximised for everyday workloads.

What speed does the 2.5" SATA SSD actually deliver in this chassis?

The 128 GB drive uses a standard SATA interface, so sequential reads and writes are capped at the SATA bus limit; it still boots the OS and loads apps far quicker than any mechanical drive.

Does the 14.0" HD screen need a special bracket to mount in the E7450 lid?

No, the 1366 x 768 panel is the factory display for this model and fits the existing hinge mounts and bezel clips without extra hardware.
