Business ultrabook with 14" Full HD display

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0" ultrabook built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It combines an Intel Core i7-6600U processor at 2.60GHz with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB solid state drive. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles the 1920 x 1080 non-touch screen.

Upgrade from heavier legacy laptops

This model replaces bulkier business notebooks that lack solid state storage and modern processor efficiency. The jump is worth it when daily work demands quick boot times, silent operation and a thin profile for frequent travel. Buyers who need discrete graphics or user-replaceable components should look elsewhere.

256GB SSD capacity for core workloads

The 256GB drive comfortably holds the operating system, office suites and typical project files with room for updates. It runs out when large media libraries, virtual machines or extensive local databases are required. The 8GB DDR4 memory supports standard multitasking; heavier concurrent workloads will hit the memory ceiling.

The panel measures 14.0 inches diagonally with a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

How is the 256GB SSD installed, and what step is often missed?

The drive slots into the internal M.2 connector; the screw that secures it to the motherboard standoff is frequently forgotten.
