14-inch FHD business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14-inch full-HD notebook built for office and mobile professionals who need a ready-to-deploy Windows or Linux platform. It ships without an operating system so the buyer can install their preferred edition.

16 GB DDR4 and 240 GB NVMe headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory saturates the board limit, giving comfortable multitasking headroom for typical productivity workloads. The 240 GB NVMe drive handles the OS and core applications quickly, though users with large local media libraries will need external or cloud storage.

Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor

The U-series i7-6600U runs at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo, paired with Intel HD Graphics 520 for everyday display output and light GPU tasks. Buyers who require sustained heavy compute, discrete graphics or more than two cores should consider a different class of machine.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.0" FHD 1920x1080 display work with my older docking station that only has VGA output?

The Latitude E7470 includes native video outputs that can drive a VGA monitor through a compatible adapter or dock, so your existing station can still be used for external display.

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-6600U is reaching its 3.40 GHz turbo frequency after I install an OS?

Run a CPU stress utility such as Intel XTU or HWMonitor while monitoring core clocks; sustained loads should show the dual-core processor hitting 3.40 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Does the box include a Windows licence or recovery media for the 240GB NVMe SSD?

The laptop ships with no operating system and no recovery media; you must supply your own Windows licence or alternative OS installation media.
