Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a new 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment in managed environments.

Thermals and power in daily use

The ultra-low-voltage processor targets a modest thermal envelope suited to thin chassis designs. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles display output without a discrete GPU, keeping heat and acoustic output low during office workloads, video playback and light multitasking. The solid-state drive adds no moving parts, further reducing noise and power draw.

Build integration and expansion limits

Memory uses two slots and supports up to 16 GB total, allowing a future upgrade from the factory 8 GB. The M.2 NVMe slot is occupied by the included 500GB drive; adding a second internal drive is not possible. Connectivity includes Bluetooth and a built-in webcam, while the non-touch 1920 x 1080 display keeps the lid profile slim for bag-friendly portability.
