Dell Latitude E7470 14 inch laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6650U dual-core processor running at 2.20 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a new 1TB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The 14.0 inch non-touch display has a 1366 x 768 HD resolution driven by Intel Iris Graphics 540. No operating system is included.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits buyers who need a portable 14 inch device with 16GB of memory and a large 1TB SATA SSD for everyday office applications. It is not for buyers who want a higher resolution screen or a touchscreen. It is not for users who need more than 16GB of memory because the maximum supported is 16 GB. It is not for anyone who expects an operating system to be pre-installed.

Deciding specification: 16GB memory limit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 16GB maximum memory supported across two slots. The system ships with 16GB DDR4 already installed, so no further memory upgrades are possible. If your workload requires more than 16GB of RAM, this model cannot meet that need.
