Travel-Ready 14.0" Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch Windows 10 Pro notebook built for professionals who move between meetings. A dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U running at 2.6 GHz and 8 GB of DDR4 memory handle office workloads and web-based apps. The 512 GB M.2 SSD provides fast boot and load times without an optical drive. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch FHD panel and external displays via HDMI and mini DisplayPort.

Sustained Office Performance

Under continuous load the Skylake-based processor maintains its 2.6 GHz base frequency while the integrated GPU shares system memory for video playback and light graphics tasks. The 4 MB L2 cache helps keep frequent data close to the cores during long document or spreadsheet sessions. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 wireless keep network throughput steady for cloud sync and video calls. The 512 GB solid-state drive delivers consistent read speeds without thermal throttling typical of spinning drives.

Straightforward Deployment

The chassis includes three USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, HDMI, mini DisplayPort and a built-in webcam so most peripherals connect without adapters. Windows 10 Pro x64 is pre-installed and the 32 GB maximum memory ceiling allows a future RAM upgrade if workloads grow. Grade B condition means the LCD and exterior show visible wear such as worn keys, touchpad shine or minor scratches; overly worn or damaged parts have been replaced. Buyers who need a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the Core i7-6600U get when the E7470 runs all day?

The dual-core i7-6600U and integrated HD 520 graphics are low-power parts; the slim chassis relies on a single fan that spins up under sustained load but stays quiet during typical office work.

What must I already own to use the HDMI and mini DisplayPort on this E7470?

You need an HDMI cable for the full-size HDMI port and a mini DisplayPort cable or adapter for the mini DisplayPort; both connectors are on the laptop itself.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and VGA monitor work with the E7470?

The three USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 drives, and the mini DisplayPort can drive a VGA monitor through a passive adapter.
