Target user

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built around a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 6th Gen dual-core processor with 8GB of memory and a 128GB solid-state drive. It runs Windows 10 Pro and includes a non-touch HD display at 1366 x 768 resolution. The bundle adds a deskmat and a 16GB flash drive.

Upgrade threshold

This unit replaces older dual-core laptops that rely on mechanical hard drives and 4GB of memory, delivering noticeably faster boot and application load times. The jump is worth it when daily work involves multiple browser tabs, office suites and video calls on a compact 14 inch chassis. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics processor, a larger SSD or a higher-resolution screen will not find those here.

Sustained behaviour

Under continuous office workloads the integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 shares system memory and the dual-core CPU maintains its 2.4 GHz base frequency without thermal throttling in typical indoor temperatures. The 128GB SSD keeps write performance steady during repeated file saves, while the 10/100/1000 Ethernet port provides a stable wired link for long conference sessions.
