Ready-to-deploy business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch HD+ notebook powered by an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor running at 2.40 GHz with a 3.00 GHz turbo frequency. It comes equipped with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a new 500GB SATA SSD. The system ships without an operating system, so the buyer installs their preferred Windows or Linux distribution.

Fits standard business workflows

The 1600 x 900 non-touch display and Intel HD Graphics 520 handle office applications, video calls and multi-monitor setups through the available ports. Two memory slots are present, although the 16GB configuration already reaches the maximum supported capacity. The 2.5 inch drive bay holds the included SSD, leaving no internal bay for a second drive.

Clean software start

With no operating system pre-installed, the machine arrives free of trialware, vendor partitions or licensing ties. The fresh 500GB SSD provides a clean target for a custom image, reducing first-boot configuration time for IT teams or individual users who maintain their own deployment scripts.

Questions about this item

At what turbo frequency does the i5-6300U hit its thermal ceiling during long sessions?

The processor can reach 3.00 GHz turbo, but sustained workloads will be limited by the laptop cooling capacity.

How loud or hot does the E7470 get when running all day?

The 14.0 inch chassis uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 and a low-power CPU, so fan noise and surface temperature stay moderate under typical office loads.

Which operating system licence do I need to supply myself?

The unit ships with no operating system installed, so you must provide your own Windows or Linux licence and installation media.
