Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 GB M.2 drive into the E7470?

Remove the base cover, insert the 240 GB M.2 drive into the slot, then secure it with the retention screw; the step often missed is tightening that screw before reassembling the laptop.

What maintenance or replacement will the 8 GB DDR4 memory need later?

The system has two slots supporting up to 16 GB total; you can add a second DDR4 module or replace both for more capacity when workloads demand it.

What limit appears first on the i7-6600U during sustained loads?

The dual-core 2.60 GHz processor with 3.40 GHz turbo will hit thermal and power limits before the Intel HD Graphics 520 or the 240 GB NVMe SSD become bottlenecks.
