Ready-to-work business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed and a fresh 2 TB M.2 NVMe drive. A dual-core i7-6650U running at 2.20 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency handles office suites and browser workloads. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory are fitted across two slots and the platform reaches its 16 GB ceiling.

Compact 14-inch form factor

The 14.0-inch non-touch panel shows 1600 x 900 HD+ resolution and relies on Intel Iris Graphics 540 for display output. No mechanical hard drive is present so the chassis stays light and quiet. Wireless peripherals pair over Bluetooth and the integrated webcam supports video calls without extra hardware.

Steady thermals for long sessions

The ultra-low-power processor and integrated graphics keep heat output modest during extended document editing or video playback. Fan activity stays low because the silicon draws little power at sustained load. The 365-day parts and labour warranty covers the system if a thermal issue ever appears.

Questions about this item

Does the dual-core i7-6650U throttle under sustained 3.40 GHz turbo?

The processor reaches 3.40 GHz turbo but sustained loads on a dual-core 14.0" chassis will trigger thermal limits before long.

How loud and hot does the 14.0" chassis get during all-day use?

Integrated Iris Graphics 540 and the 2.20 GHz base keep heat modest; fan noise stays low for office workloads.

What must I already own to use the M.2 NVMe drive and 16 GB DDR4?

The 2 TB NVMe SSD and 16 GB DDR4 are factory-fitted; only a power adapter is required to start.
