Dell Latitude E7470 14 inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6650U dual-core processor running at 2.20 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It includes 16GB of DDR4 memory and a new 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed on the HD resolution non-touch display.

Who this suits and who it does not

This laptop suits professionals who need a portable Windows 10 machine with 16GB of soldered memory and fast NVMe storage for office applications. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel, dedicated graphics or the ability to expand memory beyond 16GB should look at other models.

Deciding specification: 16GB maximum memory

The system supports a maximum of 16GB of DDR4 memory across two slots, and this unit already ships with that full amount installed. If your workload requires more than 16GB of RAM, this chassis cannot accommodate it and a different platform will be necessary.

Open Windows 10 Home 64-bit File Explorer or Disk Management and verify a 500 GB drive appears as the primary boot volume.
