Refurbished business laptop with Core i5-6300U

The DELL E5570 is a refurbished 15.6-inch work laptop built around a dual-core Intel Core i5-6300U processor running at 2.40 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD under Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The B-grade rating means the chassis may show dents, chips or scuffs, the keyboard can be shiny or worn, and the screen may have fine scratches. Buyers who need a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere.

Included operating system and storage

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed, so the machine is ready for domain join, BitLocker and remote management without extra licences. The 256 GB solid-state drive provides the boot volume and primary storage in one device; there is no second drive bay mentioned, so users who want more capacity will need an external solution.

Installation notes for a refurbished unit

Power on, accept the Windows out-of-box experience and install driver updates from Dell support using the service tag. The main friction point is cosmetic: the worn keyboard and screen scratches are permanent and do not affect function, but they may distract users expecting a like-new feel. No hardware assembly is required.

Questions about this item

How do I upgrade the 256GB SSD later?

What limits the Core i5-6300U during long workloads?

The dual-core Skylake processor with 3 MB L3 cache will hit its thermal ceiling first under sustained load.

How loud and hot does the E5570 get when running all day?

The internal fan spins up under continuous use; the chassis warms near the hinge while the 15.6" 1366 x 768 panel stays cool.
