Refurbished 14.0" business laptop

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0 inch notebook built for mobile professionals who need a compact Windows device for everyday office tasks. It ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit installed and carries a Grade B cosmetic rating that may include body dents, keyboard wear or fine screen scratches.

Upgrade from older dual-core ultraportables

The 5th generation Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor replaces earlier low-voltage chips and makes the jump worthwhile when your current machine struggles with multi-tab browsing or document switching. Buyers who need dedicated graphics, a higher resolution panel or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

4GB memory and 120GB SSD headroom

The 4GB of RAM and 120GB solid-state drive handle web-based workflows, email and light spreadsheet work comfortably. Storage runs out quickly with large media libraries or local databases, and memory limits the number of concurrent applications you can keep open.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.0" chassis fit in a standard 14-inch laptop sleeve?

The Latitude E5450 is a 14-inch mainstream business laptop; its dimensions match typical 14-inch sleeve sizing.

How do I upgrade the 4GB memory, and what mistake should I avoid?

The E5450 has one SODIMM slot accessible under a bottom panel; the common error is buying dual-channel kits when only a single module fits.

When will the 120GB SSD need replacement?

A 120GB drive in daily business use typically reaches its write-endurance limit after several years; plan to clone to a larger SSD when free space drops below 20GB.
