Refurbished 14-inch business laptop

The Dell E5450 is a refurbished 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-5600U processor running at 2.6GHz. It comes with 16GB of memory and a 1000GB SSD for storage. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed and features a non-touch Wide XGA display.

Integrated graphics thermals and power

Integrated graphics share system memory and keep power draw modest during typical office workloads. The 1366 x 768 resolution reduces GPU load compared to higher-density panels. Fan noise remains low during document editing and web browsing. The 14.0-inch chassis provides adequate airflow for sustained business use.

Durable chassis with essential connectivity

The Gray chassis is built for daily professional transport and meets standard business durability expectations. A Grade condition indicates minimal cosmetic wear on the exterior surfaces. The package includes the laptop, battery, and AC adaptor for immediate deployment. Missing webcam and optical drive reduce weight and potential failure points for security-focused environments.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1000GB SSD in the E5450, and what step is often missed?

The laptop ships with the 1000GB SSD already fitted; the only installation required is sliding the battery into its bay until the latch clicks, which some users forget to secure fully.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16GB memory and SSD need later?

The 16GB memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded, while the 1000GB SSD is removable and can be swapped for a larger drive if capacity runs out.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Core i7-5600U?

The integrated graphics share system memory, so extended 3D or video tasks hit the 16GB RAM ceiling before the processor reaches its thermal ceiling.
