Questions about this item

Which version of the NEC NP-M302X lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

The listing offers three OEM versions — direct from the bulb manufacturer, sold by NEC, or from another OEM bulb maker — plus a compatible version built with genuine OEM parts. All are manufactured to ISO9001 standards and quality-tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

What do the 3500 and 8000 hour figures mean once the lamp is installed in my projector?

In Normal mode the lamp is rated for 3500 hours; switching to Economy mode extends the rating to 8000 hours. Actual life will vary with usage patterns, ambient temperature and how often the projector is power-cycled.

How does the UHP lamp type affect what the projector can deliver in practice?

The UHP bulb is the light source specified for the NP-M302X projector. The module includes a new Philips UHP bulb pre-assembled in its housing, so it installs directly and restores the projector’s original brightness and colour performance.
