Small-form-factor desktop with a quad-core Intel Core i5-4570 at 3.20 GHz, 8 GB DDR3, and a new 500 GB SSD
The Dell OptiPlex 3020 is a small-form-factor business desktop built around an Intel Core i5-4570 quad-core processor running at 3.20 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a new 500 GB solid-state drive. The unit includes a 16X DVD±RW drive, integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 and Gigabit Ethernet. No operating system is installed, so the buyer must provide their own licence and media.
The 8 GB of DDR3 memory handles everyday office applications, web browsing and light multitasking without difficulty. The board supports a maximum of 16 GB should additional headroom be required. The 500 GB SSD provides fast boot and load times for the operating system and core programmes, while larger media libraries or extensive project files will eventually demand supplementary storage.
A new USB keyboard and a new USB mouse are bundled, letting the system be used immediately after an operating system is installed. No monitor, recovery media or additional cables are supplied. The integrated audio and Gigabit Ethernet ports are ready for standard peripherals and wired network connections.
