Business desktop with six-core i7-8700, 16 GB DDR4 and 500 GB SSD for fast multitasking
SSD 500GB
The Dell OptiPlex 5060 is a business desktop built around a 6-core Intel Core i7-8700 processor running at 3.4 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 500 GB solid-state drive for fast boot and application loading. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system includes a Wi-Fi adapter plus gigabit Ethernet. No monitor, keyboard or mouse are supplied.
The Intel HD 630 integrated graphics handle everyday productivity, video playback and light editing without a discrete card. The 500 GB SSD maintains responsive performance during extended sessions while the 6-core CPU manages multiple business applications simultaneously. Memory can be expanded up to 64 GB if workloads grow beyond the installed 16 GB. Thermal design targets typical office duty cycles rather than continuous maximum load.
The single 500 GB solid-state drive sets the total fast storage available out of the box. Users who keep large local media libraries, multiple virtual machines or extensive project archives will need to add drives or use external storage. Buyers requiring more onboard capacity or a second drive bay should consider a different configuration.

Other versions of this model
The Intel Core i7-8700 is a 65 W hexa-core CPU. The OptiPlex 5060 desktop chassis uses an internal fan and heatsink assembly designed for that thermal envelope.
The system provides onboard video through HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. Any monitor with HDMI or DisplayPort input can be used without a discrete graphics card.
The board supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 across four slots. The current 16 GB leaves three slots free for expansion with matching DDR4 modules.
