Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q is a micro-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB SSD for additional storage. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Who This Suits

This system fits offices that need a small, quiet PC for everyday productivity, web apps and video calls. The dual-drive layout keeps boot times fast while providing ample space for local files. Buyers who want more storage bays or a dedicated graphics card should look at larger form factors.

Processor Core Count

The i7-8700 delivers six cores and twelve threads with a 65 W thermal design power, enabling responsive multitasking in a chassis small enough to mount behind a monitor. This core count is the key figure that determines whether the machine can handle your workload.
