A compact business desktop with a six-core Intel i5-9500, 8 GB DDR4, 512 GB NVMe storage and Windows 10 Pro ready to use
The Dell OptiPlex 5070 small-form-factor desktop uses a 6-core Intel i5-9500 processor at 3.00 GHz with 9 MB L3 cache. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics and Windows 10 Pro make it ready for office productivity, web apps and light multitasking.
This unit provides two DisplayPort 1.2 connectors but no HDMI, VGA or DVI ports, so older monitors will need an active adapter. The slim chassis restricts add-in cards to low-profile height and offers only one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, five USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and four USB 2.0 Type-A ports. No keyboard, mouse or display are included.
The 65 W processor and integrated graphics keep heat output modest, so the small-form-factor cooler typically spins at low speed during normal office workloads. Gigabit Ethernet, a single universal audio jack and line-out handle wired networking and basic audio. Power draw stays well within the limits of the included power cord for everyday business use.
