Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny Desktop PC

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q is a compact micro-form-factor desktop designed for business environments. It features an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching up to 4.10 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB 2.5-inch solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed with a USB keyboard and mouse included.

Ideal for office work and managed deployments

This desktop suits organisations needing small-footprint PCs for standard productivity tasks, web applications and video conferencing. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics and included Wi-Fi dongle support typical office workflows. Buyers who want more storage capacity or discrete graphics performance for demanding creative or engineering workloads should look at something else.

128 GB 2.5-inch SSD capacity

The primary storage is a 128 GB 2.5-inch solid-state drive. This capacity determines how many applications and local files can reside on the device before external or cloud storage becomes necessary. The platform supports DDR4 memory up to 32 GB for future upgrades.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 65 W i5-8500 draw when the M720q runs continuously?

The Intel Core i5-8500 is rated at 65 W, so sustained all-day load will stay near that ceiling while the tiny chassis relies on its internal fan to dissipate the heat.

Does the M720q come with a monitor, or must I supply my own display?

No monitor is included; you will need to provide a display with HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA input to use the system.

Can I keep using my existing DDR4 memory modules if I decide to upgrade the 16 GB already installed?

Yes, the board accepts DDR4 UDIMM up to 32 GB total, so any compatible DDR4 sticks you already own can be added or swapped.
