Ready-to-run office desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed, a 3.40 GHz quad-core i7-3770 processor, 32 GB of DDR3 memory and a dual-drive layout of 128 GB SSD plus 2 TB hard drive. It is aimed at small-business users, home-office workers and students who need a complete system for productivity, web apps and light media tasks without assembling parts.

Check your peripherals and display

The unit ships with a USB keyboard and mouse but no monitor, so you will need a display with VGA, DisplayPort or HDMI input plus a power outlet for the tower. Verify that your network infrastructure provides a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection, as the onboard NIC uses that standard, and confirm that any legacy PCI or PCIe add-in cards you rely on are compatible with the motherboard slots available in this chassis.

Fits a standard workspace

The mini-tower form factor sits on or under a desk and includes a DVD±RW drive for optical media. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 drives up to three displays, freeing expansion slots for additional I/O cards. The 2.5-inch SSD handles boot and application loads while the 2 TB hard drive stores large document archives and backups.
