Compact Business Desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro is a new, ultra-small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-8700T hexa-core processor running at 2.4 GHz with a 4.0 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 memory, a 1 TB SATA M.2 SSD and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two DisplayPort monitors. The 90 W power supply fits inside the 3.5 x 18.2 x 17.8 cm chassis weighing 1.2 kg.

Ideal for Office Deployments

This system suits IT buyers who need a fleet-ready PC with a full-size keyboard and USB mouse included, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. It is not for users who require a discrete graphics card, additional internal drive bays beyond the two M.2 slots, or a higher-wattage power supply for expansion cards.

Memory Expandability Limit

The single decisive specification is the 32 GB maximum DDR4 capacity across two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots. If your workload needs more than 32 GB of RAM, this platform cannot meet it.

Questions about this item

Can the 16GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The system has two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 32GB of DDR4, so you can add or replace modules as needed.

What limits sustained performance when the i7-8700T runs at its 4.0 GHz turbo?

The 90 W power supply and compact 1.4-inch chassis restrict cooling, so the processor will throttle once thermal limits are reached.

How loud and hot does the Micro get under all-day load?

The small form factor and 90 W adapter mean the fan spins up noticeably and the case surface becomes warm during continuous heavy work.
