Compact business desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro is a mini PC built for office and home computing with an 8th generation Intel Core i7 8700T six-core processor running at 2.4 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

Installation and common issues

The unit arrives with an OEM AC adapter rated at 65 W so setup only requires connecting power, a DisplayPort monitor and peripherals. There are no VGA, DVI or HDMI ports, so older displays will need an active adapter or a DisplayPort cable. Only one USB Type-C port is provided alongside five USB 3.0 ports, limiting high-speed peripheral connections.

Graphics and display constraint

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives two DisplayPort outputs and supports typical business applications and multi-monitor productivity. It is not suited for buyers who want more storage than the single 2 TB NVMe drive or builders who need a second card for discrete graphics performance.
