Dell OptiPlex 7090 Mini Tower business desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 7090 Mini Tower is a new business desktop built around a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10700 8-Core processor running at 2.90GHz up to 4.80GHz. It comes with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD for the operating system and applications. Integrated Intel HD Graphics drives the display outputs while a DVD-RW optical drive handles legacy media. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a wired keyboard and mouse are included.

Mini Tower chassis with standard component access

The Mini Tower form factor provides straightforward access to internal bays and slots for memory or storage upgrades. Installation follows typical Dell tool-less procedures for the side panel and drive cages. The 260W power supply limits the graphics cards that can be added without a PSU swap. Builders who need a second card or more power for a discrete GPU should verify the power budget before purchase.

10th Generation Intel Core i7-10700 8-Core processor

The choice hinges on the 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10700 8-Core processor with 16MB cache and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.80GHz. It delivers eight cores for multi-threaded workloads and mainstream productivity. Buyers who want more storage or a dedicated graphics solution must plan upgrades around the 260W supply and available slots. The system includes Gigabit Ethernet and five USB 3.2 ports for connectivity.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 2.90 GHz base clock and 8-core processor are active after setup?

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a display separately?

The box includes the mini tower, wired keyboard, wired mouse, power cord and Windows 10 Pro licence; a monitor is not included and must be purchased separately.
