Compact all-in-one desktop for business users

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD inside a micro form-factor chassis. A 22-inch FHD IPS display, DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard and mouse are included, delivering a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro workstation for office productivity.

65 W processor in a fan-cooled micro chassis

The hexa-core i7-8700 runs at a 3.20 GHz base clock and can reach 4.60 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost while staying within a 65 W thermal envelope. The tiny case uses internal airflow to manage heat, so typical office workloads remain quiet without the bulk of a traditional tower.

Replaces a separate tower and monitor combo

This all-in-one consolidates the PC, 22-inch screen and peripherals into one footprint, cutting cable clutter for desk-bound staff. Buyers who need discrete graphics, additional internal drive bays or a larger display diagonal should consider a traditional desktop setup instead.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 32 GB DDR4 memory in the M720q Tiny, and what step is often missed?

The Tiny chassis uses 240-pin DDR4 UDIMM slots; open the case, align the notch, press firmly until the retention clips click — the step often missed is seating both clips fully so the module sits flat.

What maintenance or replacement will the 256 GB 2.5" SSD and DVD-ROM need later?

The 2.5-inch SSD has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance; the DVD-ROM tray may need occasional lens cleaning or drive replacement if disc reading fails.

What thermal limit appears first on the 65 W i7-8700 during sustained loads in this Micro form factor?

The 65-watt processor will hit its thermal ceiling and throttle clock speeds before the compact Micro chassis can dissipate the heat continuously.
