OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower is a new desktop computer built around a 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 processor running at 3.40 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR3 memory, a 512 GB solid-state drive and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed along with a DVD±RW drive, USB keyboard and mouse.

Fits a standard tower workspace

The Mini Tower case uses an Intel Q77 chipset on an LGA1155 socket with four DIMM slots, all currently populated by 8 GB modules. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 drives display output without a discrete card, freeing expansion slots for other add-in boards. Gigabit Ethernet and integrated audio handle wired networking and sound without extra hardware.

Sustained office workloads run steadily

The quad-core 64-bit processor maintains its 3.40 GHz clock across long sessions, while the SSD keeps the operating system and active files responsive during extended use. The 1 TB hard drive provides deep capacity for archives and backups without slowing the primary volume. Integrated graphics handle typical business visuals continuously without the thermal spikes of a separate GPU.

Questions about this item

Does the i7-3770 hit its 77 W TDP ceiling quickly under sustained load?

The 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 is rated at 77 W; the Mini Tower chassis and its single rear exhaust fan are designed to dissipate that heat continuously without throttling.

How loud does the Mini Tower get when running all day?

The system uses a standard PSU fan and a single rear case fan; under typical office workloads noise stays at a low background hum, rising only when the CPU maintains maximum turbo for extended periods.

What display cable do I need since no monitor is included?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 provides VGA and DisplayPort outputs, so you will need a VGA or DisplayPort cable matching your monitor's input.
