A mini-tower desktop with a quad-core Intel i5-4570, 16 GB DDR3, 512 GB SSD plus 1 TB hard drive, DVD-RW and Windows 10 Pro
HDD 1TB
The Dell OptiPlex 9020 Mini Tower ships with a 4th Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-4570 running at 3.20GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a dual-drive layout that pairs a 2.5" 512 GB SSD with a 3.5" 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit is pre-installed so the system boots straight to a familiar desktop. A DVD±RW drive, USB keyboard and mouse complete the package for student or home-office tasks.
The 290 W power supply feeds the processor, integrated Intel Graphics 4600, Gigabit Ethernet and sound circuitry without auxiliary connectors. Under typical document and web workloads the Mini Tower runs cool and quiet, while the SSD keeps application launches snappy and the hard drive handles bulk archives. No discrete graphics card is present so power draw stays modest and fan noise remains low.
Two 3.5" bays and two 2.5" bays leave room for extra drives, and four DIMM 240-pin slots support up to 32 GB of DDR3 when all are populated. A PCIe x16 slot and two PCIe x1 slots accept low-profile add-in cards such as a dedicated GPU or extra ports. The rear panel supplies USB, Gigabit Ethernet, display outputs and audio jacks, so a monitor and speakers are the only external items required.

Open the case, align the notch on the DDR3 240-pin DIMM with the slot key, press straight down until the retention clips click, and never force a module backwards — the notch only fits one way.
The 290W power supply is the part most likely to require replacement after several years of continuous operation, especially if extra drives or expansion cards are added later.
The CPU will hit its maximum junction temperature and throttle clock speeds before the 290W power supply reaches its output ceiling during prolonged heavy workloads.
