Ready-to-use desktop for office and study

The Dell OptiPlex 9020 Mini Tower arrives with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed and includes a USB keyboard and mouse. A 4th Gen Intel Core i7-4770 quad-core processor running at 3.40 GHz with 3.90 GHz turbo boost works alongside 32 GB of DDR3 UDIMM RAM. Storage combines a 512 GB solid-state drive with a 3.5-inch 1 TB hard drive, and a 16X DVD±RW drive handles optical media.

Check power and expansion space before ordering

The 265 W internal power supply limits the graphics cards you can add without an upgrade. Integrated Intel Graphics 4600 output uses the motherboard video ports, so confirm your monitor has a compatible input. Four DDR3 DIMM slots use 240-pin modules; the 32 GB configuration may already fill them, leaving no room for more memory. Gigabit Ethernet provides wired networking, and the mini-tower case determines which add-in cards fit.

Replaces older desktops lacking SSD speed

Moving from a mechanical-drive-only system to this dual-drive layout cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The 64-bit Windows 10 Pro installation supports current business software that 32-bit platforms cannot run. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, more than 32 GB of RAM, or a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.
