Ready for home and student use

The Dell OptiPlex 9020 tower arrives with a 4th Gen Intel Core i7-4770 processor at 3.4 GHz, 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box. The integrated Intel Graphics 4600 handles everyday display tasks.

Upgrade from older desktops

Replacing a system that relies on a dual-core CPU or mechanical drive alone brings noticeable responsiveness for office applications and web browsing. The jump is worth it when you need 64-bit performance and Gigabit Ethernet without moving to a newer platform. Buyers who want more storage or faster boot times should add an SSD separately.

Simple tower access

The mini-tower chassis opens without tools so the 240-pin DDR3 slots and 3.5-inch drive bays are easy to reach. Installation follows standard desktop steps: align the memory notch, press until the clips click, and secure drives with the supplied brackets. The only common issue is exceeding the 32 GB memory ceiling or mixing unmatched DDR3 modules.
