Ready-to-Use Business Desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 990 Mini Tower arrives with Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit installed, an Intel Core i5-2400 quad-core processor running at 3.10 GHz with 3.4 GHz turbo, 16 GB of DDR3 memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 2 TB hard drive. A DVD-RW drive, USB keyboard and mouse are included so the system is operational immediately.

Ideal for Office Tasks, Not for Modern Gaming

This configuration suits students, home offices and general business users who need reliable productivity performance and large local storage. Buyers who require dedicated graphics acceleration, newer processor architectures or faster memory standards should consider a different platform.

Fits Standard Mini-Tower Builds

The 265 W power supply supports the installed components and leaves limited headroom for high-power add-in cards. Two drive bays are occupied by the 2.5" SSD and 3.5" HDD, while the optical bay holds the DVD-RW. Expansion slots accept low-profile cards that stay within the chassis power budget.

Questions about this item

Does the OptiPlex 990 Mini Tower include a monitor, or do I need to supply my own display?

The system ships without a monitor, so you must provide your own display with a compatible video input.

Can I keep using my existing DDR3 memory modules alongside the 16 GB already installed?

The board uses 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots; any additional modules must match that DDR3 specification to work.

How can I verify the 512 GB SSD and 2 TB HDD are both recognised after first boot?

Open File Explorer or Disk Management in Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit and confirm both drives appear with their full capacities.
